Ronin Dall: Difference between revisions

Dall moved to Earth at the age of 18 to pursue a degree in history at Dartmouth University. He met his future wife Alexandra Romanov in his 2rd year there and they were married shortly after his graduation in 2368. It was then that he began his career with the Federation News Network as an analyst where he used is knowledge to provide a historical context for current events. As the federation stood on the edge of the Dominion War in the early 2370s he was volunteered to be and embedded journalist on a Starfleet Vessel. In 2271 Dall and Romanov divorced citing irreconcilable diffences, he considers the failed relationship to be his fault, claiming that he was "too caught up in his career" to notice them drifting apart. He was embedded on the USS Tian An Men from 2373 to the end of the Dominion war. He wrote several award winning stories for FNN and went on to write a moderately successful book about his experiences, most notably the First Battle of Chin'toka. He considers himself to be more of a historian than a reporter and strives to present events from a neutral perspective in order to provide the most accurate firs-hand record.

Dall is currently embedded with the operations staff of Starbase 118, after FNN became inerested with the multiple terrorist attacks and political turmoil that seemed prevalent on the Starbase and the Trinity Sector as a whole.
