Ka'Rul grew up in Nequencia where he learned anything but the ideals of Klingon culture. His father was quite domineering in nature, and often resorted to teaching him through violence. Such a clash in learning lead to Ka'Rul becoming quite confused in his younger years. He became very violent and was often subject to investigation by the authorities. It wasn't until the death of his parents, an appearent "hit" taken against them by house KaT'TorG, that he was taken back into the klingon culture. From there he would serve on the IKS Rh'Tak, under one of the most ruthless commanders to ever serve. It wasn't until his late twenties did he decide that the life he lead was one bred on hate and terror. He then sought to kill the ones responsible for his parents death. After a failed attempt on the leader of House KaT'TorG, he fled to federation territory, where he later took up residence. Unknown to the Empire, Ka'Rul had only recently joined Starfleet, and was attending the Academy to ultimately fulfill his destiny: the redemption of his family name and honor. | |||
