Celestor grew up in a jungle on Felona VIII. Unlike his many other siblings he decided to carry on his parents traditions and work in the medical/science fields.  He hardly ever liked hunting. Celestor is a gamma male and most likely never find a mate and have a family. Also being the fact that he's a gamma male, he will never gain empathic abilities and like most Pahkwa-thanhs, he's unreadable by telepaths. But one day during the academy he found out he had empathic abilities towards children. He could read their emotions if he was close enough. Celestor was the only one of his siblings to enroll in Starfleet. His parents were very proud, but also very sad to see their son go. Celestor's siblings would rather hunt and start a family, but it would be much easier for them since all the male siblings were alpha males. Celestor was the only gamma male, but the smartest. While in Starfleet Celestor find out that most Earthlings were afraid of him. It took one of the other classmates, a Vulcan , to tell him it was because he looked exactly like a prehistoric dinosaur from Earth. Celestor was actually not surprised to have so many Humans act strange towards him, even his professors. He however ignored them and focused hard on his studies and eventually became the rank Lieutenant. Celestor has very excellent bedside manner, but the only flaw of that was his experience, particularly to humans.
