Jorus Cogud is a keen collector of Maurader Mo action figures. He enjoys spending time on the holodeck paticuarly in programs relating to earth history (In which Jorus has a keen interest). He has a distrust for most humans as he was brought up on a Ferengi ship but has gained a little bit more trust for them during his time in the academy, Jours is a good Dabo player and enjoys Ferengi beverages paticuarly Snail Juice. He often tries to make a profit and during his time in the academy conned many young cadets out of there holodeck time, only to sell it on. Jorus is also trained to use Ferengi Energy Whips to a high standard, he learnt how to use it on board Zug's vessel. Jorus has a dislike for Orions due to the ones that tried to kill his father.

Due to his upbringing on a Ferengi smuggling ship, Jorus has a tendancy to be quite greedy and selfish aswell as sympathising with criminals, despite this he tries to keep a professional attitude both on and off duty.
