Damian grew up working in his father's Irish Pub. Both his siblings still work there, helping their father run it. Being the middle child, Damian felt somewhat out of place in his family's structure most of his life. His father was obsessed with genealogy, and pointed out on more than one occasion that no Fleming he knew of had ever been in Starfleet. His father took awhile to come around to the idea of Damian joining Starfleet. His mother had always been supportive, however. She had been a middle child as well, and understood the awkwardness of the situation. | |||
