Unfortunately, it was soon revealed that what the crew believed to be a mission was actually an elaborate holodeck simulation designed by Starfleet in order to test the Tiger's personnel. The crew was dismissed and used their much-needed shore leave not only to rest and regroup, but in the case of Lt. W'tine, to recover from the injuries he suffered on the holodeck.
