The Pax name cam from one of Naela's distant relatives on her father's side, Vemore Newan, who became the first of his family to be joined. He was paired with the Pax symbiont, a momentous occasion for him and his family. Joining was something Vemore had always worked towards, and due to his excellent marks, was granted an older symbiont. While thrilled at the life experiences he gained and knowledge he was entrusted with, the thought that he might be the last host for Pax, saddened him greatly. | |||
It was then he decided to give his children the Pax name, to carry on through the generations, and ensure the symbiont was never forgotten. | |||
