The Sigma Corvi star is a class IIb, type O (blue spectrum) with a stellar mass of about 60. (in relation to Sol)

Sigma Corvi star system is approximately 4 lightyears southeast of Starbase 118 and about 2 lightyears from the border of Klingon space in the Trinity Sector.

This system is considered a danger to stellar navigation. The as yet unknown nature of the bizzare and or unusual stellar conditions that has resulted in the loss of at least 17 know space craft have resulted in this area being avoided.
