<nowiki>::</nowiki>Karynn wandered among the shops on the Promenade.  She was wishing she could make friends, but she wasn't entirely sure about how to do so.  She fought the urge to slink back to her quarters on the ship and hide.  She was getting tired of introducing herself - and yet, at the same time, she wanted at least one friend aboard the [[Ronin]].  A shop called The Symphony caught her eye.  oO Cool - I could get a new instrument here.Oo  She walked along the aisles browsing the instruments.  She stopped at the flute section, that happened to be near the store front.  She was looking at a bamboo flute from Earth when she heard her name coming from an unfamiliar voice.Oo

Fifteen minutes later, she left the store with a violin that the shopkeeper said was an exact replica of the one Sherlock Holmes had used. The comment had caused Valis to raise an eyebrow and point out the fact that Holmes was a fictional character and therefore no such original existed. She had also bought a Baby Grand Piano, which the shopkeeper would arrange to have beamed to her quarters aboard the Ronin within the hour.::
