The acronym RPG stands for "Role Playing Game." It refers to any type of entertainment where one takes part by taking on an imaginary persona which is not their own. They then act out the persona they have assumed. An RPG can be text-based (like UFOP: StarBase 118), graphical (like "The Sims"), or live-action.
