Vian Latadima Nova is a Terran reporter currently living somewhere in the Beta quadrant.

She was previously a cadet in Starfleet studying propulsion engineering, and held a rank of Cadet First Class. For her cadet cruise, she was assigned to Deep Space 17, placed under the 'mentorship' of Lieutenant Tristam Core, an Operations officer on the station. She remained under his guidance for almost three months before resigning, citing "personal conflicts" as the cause. She currently works as a reporter for the Federation News Service.
