Lieutenant Junior Grade Natia Drinthar is currently serving as the Chief Paralegal aboard Deep Space 26.
Natia was born on Stardate 237104.28 in Lor'Tan, Andoria. Her Thaan father was an attorney and then a judge in the Starfleet JAG for many years, before retiring from Starfleet to become a civilian judge. She was fascinated by the work he did - from courts martial to the occasional discussion-stealing ethical and moral dilemmas that he had come across. Some said it was due to their similarities, some said it was solely to follow the "family career", but no one was surprised when she had enlisted in Starfleet to learn law and join the JAG. The less-than-shiny reputation of the JAG didn't deter her - she was hooked.
In the Academy, she focused on law, but also added some linguistics and diplomacy to the mix, both out of interest and believing the combination could very much benefit whatever work she was going to be assigned. She graduated from the Academy with a major in law and a minor in linguistics, and was assigned to Deep Space 26 to the legal branch on the station.
