Background


As a child Michael’s his father remained tough and remote, rarely showing him any love or affection. Michael and his father continued to have troubled relationship and at the age of 16 Michael struck his father in the stomach after a stormy argument, Michael has since confessed that it was like ‘hitting a brick wall.’ Michael wanted to become a star fleet engineer growing up but had trouble focusing in class and as such had only very mediocre grades when he left school. He very briefly concerned enlisted in the Marine Corps after leaving school but decided to Join the Star Fleet Enlisted Program.

Career Overview


Michael is a complete profession when on duty, being reliable and extremely hard working. He has received recognition from his first CO for his part in the rescue of two junior officers from a compartment fire in his ships science labs. However, his off duty actions have caused his commanding officers concern and delayed his promotion progress. Michael has been involved has been reprimanded for two separate 'incidents' between himself and off duty Marine personnel. In addition, Michael has been caught with contraband in his quarters on a number of occasions. On the last occasion, three bottles of Romulan Ale were found in Michael's quarters by the ships Master at Arms. While Michael denied all knowledge of the contraband he was stripped of his Petty Officer 2nd Class rating and has not been up for promotion in over 18 months. After being demoted Michael resigned himself to have 'one last run' at progressing in his star fleet career and gained an excellent rating in his last performance review.

Michael is in excellent shape, he has a athletic build from swimming and lifting weights. He also enjoys boxing but finds it difficult to find sparing partners as boxing is considered a savage and ineffective fighting and instead shadow boxes when working out.
