After Captain [[Mei'konda]]'s promotion ceremony, the crew settled into a new routine aboard their new ship, the {{USS|Astraeus}}. The ''Astraeus'' crew was provided a list of names whom the Bajoran government claimed had been missing since the Occupation of Bajor. It was the assertion of the Bajoran government that these individuals had been taken and had not been returned to their homes following the war. The ''Astraeus'' crew would be part of the investigation and the talks in seeing these individuals returned.
