A Federation colony was first established near 300 years ago, unfortunately unbeknown to the colonists the transport ship that brought them to the world encountered an unexpected anomaly and was destroyed, Even to Star Fleet the fate of the ship was unknown. Resources were needed elsewhere with new colonies, first contacts and conflicts, slowly the fate of the Talphos colony faded. It stayed that way for 250 years, in that time the colony flourished and grew to the point of space travel was achieved. One of their ships was located by the USS London, and a check of records lead to the rediscovery of a lost colony, still working by its Federation roots. In the 50years since the colony has expanded with an Outpost being added to the colony as well as a small Space dock allowing for an expansion of trade routes, and giving Star Fleet a stronger foot hold in the area.
