Ensign Jack Burns, a Terran, is currently a Tactical officer aboard the USS Avandar.

Personality
Ensign Jack Burns has a very strange personality, he doesn't take fools gladly and will show respect and determination to those who have earn't it. He's reliable in stressful and difficult situations because he's able to maintain a very cool, calm and collected manner when required. If he is crossed then he can become unfriendly and untrusting which takes a lot of time to be able to regain that trust.
Manner
- Mannerisms: Polite, deep spoken but sometimes can lose temper without notice.
- Temperament: Very untrusting at times, can be moody at the best of times but can be the most placid and calm person when required.

Hobbies and Pastimes
Reading books on tactics and tactical deployments, as well as keeping himself physically fit in the gym and using combat holograms to improve his knowledge of tactics.

Quarters
Jack's quarters are very limited as that's the way he likes it. He only has a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and toilet. Within his lounge he has numerous bookshelves with a variety of different books on mainly combat and tactics. The quarters are extremely well lit, with various pictures situated around the room, mainly of flowers and countryside which remind him of his home life. Everything within the quarters are methodically placed, nothing is left out of place in and the quarters are extremely tidy.
