Personal History
Born in 2357 to a human (Romani) father and a Risian mother, Indigo grew up is Suraya Bay, a coastal resort town on Risa. Starting at an early age, Indigo's uncle (his father's brother) taught him how to pickpocket. As soon as his mother learned of it, she forbid him to ever see his uncle again.
Indigo's father was from a group of humans known as Romani or gypsies. The Romani are a nomadic people who left Earth nearly 200 years ago. Some hire themselves out as mercenaries, others are nomadic merchants.
When he was 14, his father decided he could no longer live a sedentary life and returned to wandering the stars, leaving Indigo and his sister with their mother on Risa.
As a teen, Indigo spent a great deal of time rock climbing on Galartha, a cliff face that changes pitch while you climb it.
