Carissa Black was born as second child and as the only girl to Robert and Nora Black. She was born on Starbase 129 near the Cardassian space. Her childhood was very easy. Very early she managed to live with changes - her friends, her neighbours, the merchants. All things changes and on a starbase like this its more often. | |||
Clarissa starts to fight with her brothers. Always as fun and always on the holodeck of the starbase. In the age of 6 she realized what her parents do and all 3 children start to train - secretly on the holodeck. Clarissa mostly wins in their competitions. But she also got in trouble when her parents find out what she is doing. She was too naive to think that her brothers would back her up. After a few weeks she started again to train and the success was on her side. | |||
In the age of 12 years, while Clarissa was quite good with phasers, rifles and tactics, the starbase was attacked and invaded by Talarians. As far as security was undermanned, the small marine corps fought like hell to get the invaders out of the station. Clarissa ran through the corridors and saw one Talarian on the floor. She checked his vitals and picked up his gun. That was her first real experience in fighting and the beginning of a training by her parents. | |||
As she went 17, the family moved back to earth to afford their children to get a proper education. Clarissa joined at the age of 18 the marine corps and started her training on earth. She was getting promoted until the rank of Corporal - then she was transferred to security and her rank changed to Petty Officer 3rd class. | |||
