Life had different plans however, with Arturo failing to get into the Marines and then finding himself on the path to becoming a Tactical Officer upon his second attempt at the Academy. Henry also failed his first attempt at joining the Marines, and left it at that. Instead he focused on his day job as a delivery driver and his weekends playing rugby for the local amateur-level team, the Jedburgh Hammers where he became a bit of a hero amongst local fans. Henry visited his brother a few times on Starbase 118 and found that he quite liked the place, moving there permanently in 239511 at the same time as his niece, Milly.

Still looking for a regular job, in the meantime Henry has discovered the stations four-tier ice hockey competition and has managed to get himself into the bench for the Dry Dock Wharfers, a Delta League team based in the San Francisco District.

Ensign Rostov was a new security officer assigned to Starbase 118 on stardate 239311.21. He was met and befriended by Maxwell not long after, and Rostov was frequently used in a liaison role with the Tactical Department. He last worked alongside Maxwell during the emergency evacuation of the Starbase due to unusual weather patterns in the Jenatris Cloud in 2394.

Ensign Rostov was last seen during the stations capture by the pirate queen Chennel and is believed to have been taken prisoner by the Orion Syndicate. As no body was found on the Starbase, and Ensign Rostov was not amongst the people later rescued from an Orion slave mine on Dominicus IV, he is still listed as MIA.

Paradi is a Crewman that plays the cello as part of the same string quartet as Maxwell along with Simeon Taggart and a civilan music teacher, Martina Rossi who the Rossi String Quartet is named for.
