Her family was the crew of the ships she grew up on as much as her biological parents. She learned the cultural traditions of many of the Federation's members as a matter of her incredibly integrated upbringing on a dozen starships by the time she was ready to enter the academy herself.

Angela is Starfleet to her core. Truly believing in its mission and what it stands for, she is the first to step up to defend its value to those who don't see it or who have become jaded. Despite her zeal, she's a warm and compassionate physician. Quick with a kind word or an amusing quip, she's disarmingly charming and fiercely loyal to her friends. Angela has always excelled in her career, but it is not promotions or recognition that drives her; it's that unapologetic desire to be out in space exploring. She has often told her friends that she'd be willing to wear any colour uniform, as long as it was a Starfleet one.
