Ensign Amara Veta is a Social Science Officer assigned to the Duronis II Embassy where she studies the politics and law of the region. A Ba'ku, Amara was raised in a strict traditional life style, but after the disaster of the Ba'ku incident, she opted to go to Earth on an Academic interest at 16, passing several standardized tests to gain admission to Vassar College on Earth where she earned a B.A in Psychology three years later. She earned her PhD in Political Science from Princeton four years later and her J.D from Yale Law School in Interstellar Law three years after that.
