To add insult to injury, upon waking from his coma his request to return to the [[USS Independence-A]] was denied by [[Riley, Sidney|Sidney Riley]]. He is purposeless, physically crippled and mentally broken.

Additionally, Alleran has three deep scars on the small of his back over his heart.
