'''Alana Culemerwin Devar''', otherwise known as ''Alana, the Divine Lady of Peace and Protection'' or ''Lieutenant Commander Devar'' is a woman who seems to be involved in a perpetual cycle of emotions, duty, life and wisdom. After the birth of her two children, however, Alana has progressively transitioned from an emotional woman to one of tremendous strength, self-control and integrity.  The Daughter of the 13th House of Betazed is the current Head of House, as deemed in an inauguration ceremony in mid-2384.  This ceremony followed within the two week event of her cousin's marriage into the Second House of Betazed. She is the former crewmember of the [[USS Independence]] (holding such positions as Second Officer, Counselor, CMO, CSO, etc.) and [[USS Wallace]] (as First Officer).
