Hey there, thanks for stopping by!
My name is Keith, and I live in South Carolina. Currently, I work for a municipality in SC and like to spend my time off playing games, writing, watching tv/movies, and reading. I was never a giant Star Trek fan growing up, but it had always been an interest, mostly due to my broader interest in science fiction. It wasn't until I had grown up that I started to fully enjoy Star Trek, especially for its message for our own time and the ideal future it presents. Thankfully, it's easier now to binge as much Star Trek as you want, which has helped me learn and appreciate it even more. I'm still doing my best to get caught up on everything, but I'm enjoying my time going forward.
I joined Starbase 118 after searching for roleplay groups online. I took one look at the main website and knew it was a community that I had to be a part of. I've done roleplay in a couple of different forms (online games and forums) but had never tried to play-by-email before, so that was a bit of a challenge to get used to. What made it easy for me was how welcoming and supportive everyone here is. They have made it incredibly easy to jump right in to get involved in writing a collaborative story, with each person having their unique impact.
The first character I've made is a Vulcan security officer named Savel. You can find out more about him on the character page I edited for him, but I would love for our characters to get to know each other through roleplay. Hopefully, we can make that happen if you've made it this far reading!
I'm excited to continue my journey with this group and to see my character grow and evolve as time goes on. As I get settled in, I hope to contribute more to this amazing group in ways beyond just writing stories with my crew.
