This is unfortunate as Daniels is an intelligent and creative man and his accent though rare in Starfleet is somewhat more common among Terraformers and other rural worlders.
FAMILY HISTORY
The son of two Terraformers, Claire and Ryan Daniels. Colt grew up on some of the most desolate and inhospitable worlds in the galaxy, this tough but honest work instilled in him a strong can-do attitude. His parents originally hailed from Earth. Colt's father despises Alien races and blames them for many of the hardships he faced in his life. Though Cadet Daniels does not share his father's feelings towards Non-Earth beings, and he respects all forms of life, he struggles to unlearn the species superiority complex he had forced on him by his father.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
As Daniels Tired of the lonely and monotonous life that Terraforming entails he longed to strike out on his own and find a place for himself in the galaxy. This eventually led to his signing on with the security crew of a freighter that was docked at the planet on which his parents had been Terraforming for the past few years. He traveled the galaxy as part of the freighter's security force for a few years. He found the spacefaring life to be enjoyable and learned to trust both his instincts and his abilities with a phaser. Civilian life soon wasn't enough for Daniels, he found himself yearning for a more structured outfit, somewhere with a chance to really accomplish something with his life. It was at this point when he decided to enter Starfleet Academy. Daniels took to Starfleet Academy well and he truly enjoyed his time there. He took the opportunity to take as many extra courses as he could taking classes year-round. This was largely a result of the fact that he hadn't decided on a duty post yet. He graduated from the Academy with a substantial amount of extra credits and quite a bit of extra knowledge relevant to duty posts as well his official Major in Tactics and Minor in Comm/Ops
SERVICE RECORD
In 238810 Daniels completed his Cadet cruise, and graduated from Starfleet. In 238811 Daniels was stationed on Starbase 118 as an Ensign Tactical Officer, He was on base during the events of the Thracian dispute.
CHRONOLOGICAL HISTORY
2388 - Colt Daniels Graduates from the Academy after Majoring in Tactics with a minor in Comm/Ops
2384 - After a successful 2 years of service on "The Breadwinner", Daniels enters Starfleet Academy, with 2 years of practical security experience.
2381 - Colt Daniels Joins on as security officer for the Civilian freighter "The Breadwinner"
2363 - Colt Ryan Daniels is Born to Clara and Ryan Daniels.
