Background

Cheylla was born on Bolarus as part of a set of triplets, the first of many children her parents would have. The expansive Thonn family helped raise them and engrained the Bolian values of cooperation, caring for others, and hard work from an early age. Cheylla knew she wanted to be a counselor and help other people but didn't know she'd be a counselor with Starfleet until her brother Qossa decided that he wanted to be a Starfleet captain one day. Like dominos the other triplets quickly joined in on applying to Starfleet Academy. The trio did almost everything together, and attending Starfleet Academy wasn't going to be the end of that pattern. Unfortunately, the needs of Starfleet Command meant that it was difficult to find postings where the triplet's three unique duty posts were all needed. Cheylla was forced to be stationed away from her brothers. It is a difficult prospect but her dedication to her duty helps her push through. Learning about other cultures has been a fascinating experience for Cheylla and she is eager to use her newfound knowledge to help support her crewmates.
