HOW I CAME TO SB118 |
I have been roleplaying for years! Through various mediums including written in forums, verbal through redm and fivem, and dungeons and dragons. For years I've just done the verbal roleplay and had been missing star trek. One day myself and others got distracted by star trek thought and it made me wonder if there was a forum or something I could join because I wanted to get back into written RP. I found here! Since then I have had far to much fun making friends and dragging my rp buddies here! I've successfully dragged Lynn, who dragged her husband, and Ashley! I have two others I'm poking to join but I'm not sure if they will!

- Where were you first placed? What was it like starting to sim on your vessel? The USS Astraeus! The first few posts were absolutely stressful! Serala greeted us (Lynn's character and mine) and it was off to the races with shoreleave coming about! I immediately got into a goofy thread with my mentor where their character helped a very lost Gwen find her way on the Galaxy ship, and then joined in the fun endeavor that is the power rangers planning get together sim! It was so much fun and each sim was a great way to get my feet wet while also getting to know several characters.
- What have been your greatest challenges in this group? Confidence and understanding the cadence of one groups rp to another? I always worry I'm doing to little or to much in a sim but I'm being told I'm doing alright and well! So I just need to get that confidence! With my first mission being the Frontier Day Blockbuster, we were thrust into a crazy bit of story which had two to three different groups working in tandem on the Astraeus! Sometimes it was confusing on where each was in the timeline. But we figured it out! I think I'm getting more confident :D.
- What have been your greatest achievements in this group? I have a feeling I'll be able to answer this better at a later date. So far though? I think it's that I'm making friends and fitting in! I'm enjoying this place a ton and just hope to continue to find my way! Hopefully eventually I'll edit this and add something super fancy to it.
- What do you hope to ultimately accomplish? My ultimate want? To feel confident in writing my little science bean, maybe get myself and my character confident enough to run a science department as the head instead of just being the plant loving lower decker xD. But that's ages away and I'm excited to get to be the little plant loving lower decker that Gwen is at the moment. Who knows what the future holds for this Ensign!
- Where do you see this group in five years? Alive, kicking and making epic RP with me probably still on Gwen or maybe my next bean.
