Captain Marisol is the titular character of the Captain Marisol books, a series of pulp adventure novels and novellas charting the escapades of "pirate" Captain Marisol and her allies and antagonists. Some of the titles have been unofficially adapted into holonovels which bear little resemblance to the books, and there is a thriving fan fiction community creating new stories of varying quality.
Any similarities to persons living or dead is purely coincidental.
