History
They are formally allied with the Federation and jointly maintain the Remmler Array which is in orbit of their homeworld and the Arkaria Base which is on the planets surface. These facilities are used to keep a very close watch on the Cardassian border which is fairly close.
By 2369, the Arkarians began to move towards a more egalitarian society. As a result it is believed that this is the reason many Arkarians began to do away with titles which suggested noble lineage.
Also that year, a group of rogue Arkarians cooperated with a terrorist group in a plot to steal trilithium resin from the warp core of the USS Enterprise-D, docked at the Remmler Array for a baryon sweep.
Government
They currently have an elected government with representatives coming from each of the 8 planetary districts.
Description
Their physically appearance is similar to that of Terrans, with the exception of characteristic ridges on their foreheads.
Physiology
Very similar to Terrans but with an additional suplimentary liver and a 6 valved heart.
Psychology
According to data files shared with the Federation their mental health seems to be on a par with most intelligent humanoid species.
