Template Documentation
Used to inform editors that a template should no longer be used but should still remain functional. Only to be used on template pages, do not include into the template itself!
Deprecated templates may remain on the pages that transclude them already, but new transclusion should be avoided. If deprecation is due to being replaced by another, more functional template, tell the readers which one so that it can be found. Categorize pages with a deprecated template with Category:Pages with deprecated templates by including that category within the deprecated template.
Basic usage:
{{Deprecated template|reason= }}
Give the reason for the deprecation using reason parameter.
