The Excellence In Adaptability Ribbon is a general service ribbon which is awarded to an officer who is required to perform duties outside of their specialized field when a more appropriately trained officer is not available. The officer must have performed these tasks with dedication and perseverence, and must have shown that their dedication to serving Starfleet and their crew in any role required of them is of high priority to them.
