Isabelle grew up in Carmel, CA. Her parents were both doctors and it only seemed natural for her to follow in their footsteps. She met her husband while in Med School at UCLA. They married after graduation; she went into private practice while he went to Starfleet Medical. Now that their 3 children are in boarding schools and doing well, Isabelle has decided to leave her private practice and join Starfleet Medical. She realizes that she is older than most cadets, but that really doesn't bother her, although she sometimes is uncertain if it was a wise choice to join Starfleet.
