Personal History

Jocelyn was born in the Terran colony of New Seattle on Penthara IV two years before the asteroid impact that turned her home world into an ice land overnight. After the intervention of the USS Enterprise-D, the colony's perpetual nuclear winter was over, however that didn't stop her parents from reacting. Being Scientists themselves, they developed the colony's Science Centre and Foundation program.

Growing up in the Sciences, Jo had her future mapped out from a young age. She studied hard, partied less and made few friends while working towards a career in Starfleet. Once she had enrolled in Starfleet Academy, she moved to San Francisco and blossomed. Interested in everything from Archaeology to Volcanology, she chose to pursue her career in the Sciences to better the chances of Starfleet in the field.

She is a good mix of the tough girl with a sweet disposition and a good sense of humour. Don't mess with her samples, though.
