Jack is a Human Intelligence officer currently serving aboard the USS Discovery-C. Although he's just been posted there, Jack hopes to earn the respect of his commanding officer and ship-mates. Jack's 'people-pleaser' personality has helped him get to where he is today, and he hopes to impress everyone and ascend through the ranks!

It is his belief that knowledge (over brute force) is the key to solving all problems. The military was his way in, although he would rather not have to work with a bunch of 'blood-thirsty' soldiers. Jack prefers to deal with things that come using his brain first, brawn last. Although not afraid to take up arms if necessary, it isn't his first choice!

PERSONAL

Jack Stavins was born and raised on the moon. For most of his primary and secondary school years he was the 'last man out.' He was always the last one picked for everything. When he finally graduated from High School he told his parents that he wanted to go into intelligence. His parents were supportive and let him go, although they were scared they would never see him again.

Jack Stavins never really thought the military was a good fit for him, he was much more easy-going than they were, and he believed that the best way to fight our enemies was to know them, and if you knew them then you could take them down from the inside. Jack Stavins has degrees in both covert operations as well as intelligence gathering. He also has minor degrees in science, including exo-biology.

Jack Stavins is still really easy-going about things, however, he has learned to follow orders, and he can work with the military (although it's not his favorite thing).
