Mnheia was born, no discovered, in an abandoned mine in the old Earth Colony | |||
Orpheus by Melissa McGeller and her husband William. The McGellers were in the | |||
salvage business. She was found by them in a stasis unit. The computer that | |||
maintained the unit, once decrypted, revealed a registery for its occupant as | |||
one Mnheia Thieurrull Khellian, put in stasis during 2160. Her genetic makeup | |||
identified her as a young Romulan girl. Considering her stasis period, this | |||
young girl was anything but young. Mnheia was adopted by her discoverers. | |||
Her childhood was anything but common, as her adopted parents, advised by the | |||
Federation, held mixed views on revealing her identity. Her self discovery was | |||
an interesting one. When she came of age, by Earth standards, she chose to | |||
embrace her Romulan ancestry with identificaction of her Romulan name, | |||
hyphenated with the name of the location she was discovered / born in, a common | |||
Romulan name concept, which was in her way, honoring her human raising. | |||
Mnheia made numerous attempts to learn more about her origins. This lead her to | |||
Starfleet, and from Starfleet to Starfleet Intel. For obvious reasons Starfleet | |||

the end, it would seem, both parties agreed to accept Mnheia into the Academy | |||
