Background
Ashley was born in LeClaire, Iowa, while her mother and father were on leave from Starfleet. She lived on the family farm for three years with her mother, after her father was reassigned to the USS Hera as a nurse and her parents separated. She was under the custody of her Uncle Justin and his wife Mary where she spent her days playing with her cousins, while her mother served aboard the Aurora. She now resides with her mother aboard the USS Avandar and attends classes in the daycare facilities.
