An alien species which took an early scientific interest in the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole near the Deep Space Nine space station. This species has also conducted trade business on Deep Space Nine. Frunalians are a Semi-humanoid race from somewhere in Cardassian space. Nobody has actually seen a Frunalain outside of their distinctive enviromental suits. Frunalain are most often seen in their trade convoys, consisting of three or four small, fast ships. Almost nothing is known about their physiology, culture, or history.
