History

Ren is a host to the Trill Quartz. She is the Trill's scecond host body. She has had Quartz in her body for the last 5 years so is accustmed to the experience. Her previous host, Kayan was a Xenobiologist, so this gives Ren access to some of this skill set.

Kayan is gifted, having graduated early in Biochemistry and showing academic excellence in order to be given Quartz. She then went to the Academy and studied Astophysics.

Notes- Whilst Ren normally pushes herself hard and was prone to finding perceived faults in others, having the more mature Trill inside her has helped calm her down a touch. This has enabled her to maintain a fairly good natured approach, but under stress, her original tendency to snap does sometimes come to the fore. This sometimes caused her issues with her contemparies at the Academy.

The most notable thing about the Ren is her different use of smiles, ranging between a genuine grin to one which has been discribed as being akin to 'the grin of a Grishnar cat in it's prime about to attack'
