New player to the UFoP, but a long time simmer.  Working on a draft for my first character here:

[[Sokaar, Vel]], Science Officer (Biotechnologist)


Vel Sokaar is a Doctor of Medicine, specializing in biotechnology. He is presently finishing his Academy attendance.  His work thus far has focused on regenerative zoological mechanisms and their translation to humanoid species for medicinal and rehabilitative purposes, though other unusual mechanisms such as hibernation and environmental adaptations are within his scope of interest.
He's a pretty nice fellow, sociable too, so long as he's not in mid-research...he gets a bit obsessively isolationist at those times.
He's now been assigned as a science officer at the Duronis II Embassy, with dual support duties as a pilot for the USS Thunder.
