Arnold Henny is a "perfect" genetic clone of a Terran chicken. She is the pet of Chief Petty Officer Edward Kreeger and lives in his quarters aboard the USS Montreal.

Background
Arnold Henny was born in the Iotian research lab, Space Lab 2029. She is the perfect genetic clone of a Terran Chicken hen. Arnold was simply a minor subject in clone experiments being done at the time, but Edward Kreeger developed an odd attachment to the bird and took it with him as a pet when he joined Starfleet.
Although Arnold Henny is much smarter than the average hen, she is still just a chicken. Edward hopes to change this through genetic modification and if successful, Arnold Henny will become the smartest chicken that the galaxy has ever seen!
