== Personal History ==
Ocktar was born on the Caldonian colony Plehtorah on 234803.21. His mother, Tarootai, had kept her pregnancy a secret, and his father, Ockjuiray, did not discover such until it was announced that Tarootai had been found dead holding a small child. Ockjuiray, disgusted that his child had been kept secret from until its birth, gave it no ancestral name. Ocktar would not have an ancestral name, such as Jui had been his father’s and Oot had been his mother’s.
 
Ocktar’s childhood was pleasant. His father warmed up to him, and in an attempt to buy his son’s forgiveness, spoiled him. It didn’t bother Ocktar, having his father being the head researcher and President of a massive corporation, Caldonian Aeronautic Space Vehicle Engineering and Research (CAVIR), had its benefits.
 
Ocktar applied to the leading university on Plehtorah when he turned 12. With the help of a couple of messages from Ockjuiray, he was accepted. During his first session at the Caldonian Institute of Advanced Engineering (CIAE) he enrolled in Basic Technologic Studies and Advanced Studies of Genetic Structuring. After completing his first session four years later, he advanced to In Depth Technologic Studies, Xenoecology: Pre-Warp Cultures, and Xenogentics: Analyzing and Manipulating.
 
Ocktar graduated from CIAE like a whisper, no one noticed. He went on to open his own lab, where he was arrested for altering the DNA of a fellow scientist, a crime normally punishable by life imprisonment on Plehtorah. Ockjuiray managed to arrange only an exiling from Plehtorah. Ocktar did not see his father again before he was forced off of Plehtorah.
 
Ocktar started his research again years later. This time his lab was raided by Federation agents, on grounds of creating new genetic entities. No substantial evidence was found, but Ocktar lost his lab, again.
