Ashley was born in LeClaire, Iowa, while her mother and father were on leave from Starfleet. She spent the first three years of her life on the family farm, until her father was reassigned and her mother decided to return to her career as a Starfleet doctor.

Ashley is fond of playing dress up and loves playing with medical tricorders. New to a starship, she enjoys exploring the areas of the ship is she allowed in. She is quite friendly and enjoys meeting new people.
