* As an Infant, Farhson was taken from his family by the cardassians during the occupation of Bajor. He was raised in a cardassian ran orphanage for bajoran children displaced by the war and occupation.
* Farhson Grew up thru most of his life in the Orphanage, and was used like many of the children as forced labor.
* Farhson Was rescued by the federation at age 17, and was taken back to Bajor once it was liberated.
* At 18 Farhson joined Starfleet and took his path in Medicine.
