Personal History

Lyla is 28 from Turkana IV. She and her family hitched a ride with the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) in 2367, using it to get away from a planet that was submerged in the after-effects of civil war and much destruction. Being only 10 when she left her home, she had always had the urge to go back. The family had finally settled in a remote planet that was unknown to many but welcome to all the crooks in the galaxies.

She had an innate talent for observational learning, and usually remembered anything anyone told her word for word. After she completed her academy, she decided not to immediately enrol and instead began to travel. Hitch-hiking her way across the universe, she picked up many useful tricks. For instance, she could speak a commendable amount of Klingon, but she hardly ever practiced because she hadn't yet been able to translate everything she had rote learnt, and the last thing you want to do is to walk up to a Klingon and greet him without realizing you just offered to mate with his daughter. She travelled enough to keep her mind off her bloodstained past, working if and when she needed to. She now acknowledges her need for stability, hence reapplying to the UFOP - which would be the most promising way to utilize her talents and to give her prospects for a new, more constant future.
