The Beginning

From the early days, General Miles O'Keefe lived undisturbed as he waged his private war. A war that brought to full maturity would bring death and destruction to the Federation and the rest of the galaxy. In his mansion, situated high about a deserted valley near Alice Springs, Australia, the last living link to the Chrysalis Project was shiftly making plans. With a newly developed alliance with the Alamergians, a reptilian race from a region outside the galaxy, dark clouds began to form on the horizon of the Federation as O'Keefe prepared a massive army. Using advanced techology, the Alamergians numbering in the trillions would invade the entire galaxy, quadrant by quadrant, using dimensional fissures that would allow them to jump incredible distances at a time. Once control was seized, O'Keefe would assume rule covering countless alien worlds.

Children of Chrysalis

To help him rule, O'Keefe had twelve men specially genetically created using technology from the Chrysalis Project. The twelve would assume regional control spanning different quadrants throughout the galaxy. One of the twelve included was his son Darius Shalmar, created using selected genetic material from himself and his wife K'Tara, a Klingon woman living in exile from her home world. Darius was extremely arrogant with a violent temper that was only surpassed by his desire for bloodshed. Heavily involved with the black market, it is said that Darius killed as many as 400 people personally during a two week period over a dispute of illegal goods. Darius was educated in the sciences and was noted to be a genius in the fields of engineering. Darius was presented a wife, Teleia, a Terrain woman who like himself had been specifically engineered to be a superior human being. Their union produced a daughter named Marisol. Deemed by O'Keefe, the young girl would be the first of many of a new generation of superior humans with superior capabilities that would population the entire galaxy one day.

Conspiracy

As O'Keefe continued to rise in power and favor with the Federation while planning his wicked plan, one of his generals by the name of Lt Gary Lewis felt a change was needed to avoid certain disaster. Together with four other men, Lewis emplicated a plan that would result in O'Keefe's death and make sure peace continued to rein. As a backup plan, O'Keefe cloned each of the twelve men who would rule with him (including his son Darius). Secretly, Lewis stole the genetic blueprints for Darius Shalmar and proceeded to develop the clone in a secret location.
