Think of it as version 2 of the original Template:2collar. This version now lets you choose one of the different pip styles used in Template:Roster.

As such, the rank names and colors need to be the same as the ones you would use in Template:Roster (i.e., full rank names and colors Red, Gold, Blue, Teal, Violet, Black, Silver, Green.)
