History:

Adam was the youngest child of two civil engineers. He was raised in as loving and positive of a home as one would come to expect. His parents encouraged him to be whatever it was that he wanted to be, and supported him no matter what his choice was. Yet, for some reason, Adam needed to prove something. In school, he competed in every contact sport he could find, competition and winning were extremely important to him. Yet, no matter how hard he tried, he was never the best, always second, or third, or fourth.

Though his parents didn't pressure him to, he enrolled in Starfleet Academy, where he majored in Security, with a minor in Communications/Ops. His performance was satisfactory, but no more than that. He does not mention it, but he always excelled in classes on diplomacy. He was not the best.

Psychological Profile:

Adam always wants to be the best. He is not. His siblings are both high achieving professionals (doctor and ambassador), and perhaps Adam subconsciously wants to be like them. He's loud and cocky to compensate, and he often talks to much. His sense of humor is fairly unrefined, much like a lot of him.

Specialties and Skills:

He is proficient in phaser marksmanship, hand-to-hand combat, and is a capable pilot. He has excellent aptitude for dance and can be very empathetic, but he chooses to NEVER mention these things, preferring a rough demeanor.

Hobbies and Interests:

Secret love of modern dance. Enjoys early 20th century pulp science fiction novels and the game of chess.
