Cargo Bay

A cargo bay or hold is used as a mass storage facility on board the ship. The bays are usually equipped with a transporter to make loading and unloading at port easier. On Akira-class vessels, Cargo Bay 2 is designed with enviromental controls used for organic transportation or growth.
