Lateya is a Kriosian artist who works primary in sculpture. Born in 2354, her mother is Sana, and she is the older sister of Nadira/Roshanara Rahman. She lives on Krios Prime, on one of the southern islands in the Garuthian Sea. She is married and has children.
Rahman has a piece by Lateya called Sister on her desk in her ready room aboard the USS Veritas that she brought back with her from Krios Prime in 2397.
