Ambitions and Goals

Alexander Hutton claims to have no other goals than to simply make a difference in a Starfleet career; but it is suspected that much of his desire to help others in Starfleet is fueled by the cruelty that he witnessed under his birth parents in the Mirror Universe. In a way, he is attempting to pay for all of the sins he witnessed them commit.

Personal Achievements and Disappointments

His entrance into Starfleet Academy was catapulted by his aid as a civilian in the defense of Deep Space 17 during the short-lived Gorn/Federation conflict of 2383.

Alexander Hutton is the son of Captain Christopher Hutton and Lt. Col. Veronica Summers in the Mirror Universe. Both of these people are the counterparts to Hutton and Jessa Anassasi in our universe.

Personal History

Alexander Hutton was born in the Mirror Universe as the child of Veronica Summers and Christopher Hutton. Right from birth, he was no more than a prize and possession to his parents. Summers operated as a rogue agent and Hutton was the commander of the Imperial starship STEADFAST. The two figures would constantly attack the other and obtain custody of Alexander through physical force.

Despite this hard childhood, Alexander still grew with an astounding sense of compassion and honour; perhaps due to his own poor treatment by his parents and the help that he gave to others who were also tormented by Summers and Hutton.

On Stardate 238009.10, the STEADFAST-A of the UFOP entered the Mirror Universe and encountered its double. During the ensuing conflict, Captain Christopher Hutton of the STEADFAST-A found Alexander and had compassion for him. Eventually, Alexander elected to leave the Mirror Universe altogether and go with Chris Hutton to the universe of the UFOP.

Once in our universe, Alexander went to live on the STEADFAST-A and quickly learned to love and trust both Chris Hutton and Jessa Anassasi (the double of his mother in the Mirror Universe).

Despite some initial protestations from his new father, Alexander eventually decided to pursue his own career in Starfleet and enter the Academy. Upon graduation, his first assignment is to the USS INDEPENDENCE-A under the command of Rear Admiral Jessa Anassasi.
